Every breeding program begins with a single cat and a vision for what the future could become. The cats featured here represent the foundation of nearly two decades of selective breeding and the bloodlines that shaped both Cartier Siberians and, later, Dainah Rico Siberians.
Each contributed something irreplaceable—whether exceptional breed type, temperament, health, coat quality, or genetic diversity. Their influence extends far beyond their own litters, living on through generations of descendants that continue to define my breeding program today.
Some are no longer with us. Others have long since retired. Yet their legacy remains present in the kittens and breeding cats that continue their lines today.
As you explore their individual stories, you’ll see how each generation was thoughtfully built upon the one before it. Every breeding decision was made with a long-term goal: preserving beauty, temperament, health, and genetic diversity while continually striving to improve with each generation.
Looking back at these cats is like looking back through the history of my life as a breeder. Every one of them taught me something, challenged me to become a better breeder, and helped shape the program you see today.
This archive is still growing. Documenting nearly two decades of breeding has become a much larger project than I imagined. As I revisit old pedigrees, search through thousands of photographs, and recall long-forgotten memories, I continue preserving the stories behind the remarkable cats whose influence shaped Cartier Siberians and continues today through Dainah Rico Siberians.
Archive Note: I began this historical archive in July 2026 while creating a Breeding Cats section for my website. What I expected to be a simple addition quickly unfolded into something much larger. As I revisited nearly two decades of photographs, pedigrees, records, and memories, I realized these stories deserved to be preserved. This archive will continue to grow as I preserve the stories of the remarkable cats that shaped Cartier Siberians and, later, Dainah Rico Siberians.
