His Story
Cartier Arman Koral was never simply another kitten. From the day he was born, I recognized him as the result of nearly two decades of thoughtful breeding decisions.
His pedigree brings together many of the bloodlines that have shaped the Cartier Siberians breeding program through the years. By combining selective international outcrosses with generations of my own homebred cats, Arman represents the direction I have worked toward since beginning this journey.
His sire, Cartier Alexei Romanov, was an exceptionally large male weighing nearly 19 pounds, admired for his tremendous substance and presence. Arman developed differently. Rather than inheriting his father’s remarkable size, he more closely resembles his grandsire, Charodey Roman of Cartier—a moderate-sized male with heavy bone, balanced structure, and the strength and harmony that define the Siberian breed.
What I admire most about Arman is not his size, but his overall balance. He possesses the substantial bone, rounded head, strong muzzle, correct profile, and gentle expression I have spent years striving to preserve. Combined with his exceptionally sweet temperament, he embodies many of the qualities I value most in the Siberian cat.
His Legacy
Every long-term breeding program eventually reaches a point where years of planning begin to come together in a single cat. For Cartier Siberians, Arman represents one of those milestones.
His pedigree reflects generations of carefully selected Russian and European bloodlines alongside the homebred cats that have helped define my own breeding program. Behind him stand influential Siberians whose contributions continue to be recognized throughout the breed, while his immediate pedigree represents years of selective breeding here at Cartier Siberians.
Arman represents the continuity I have worked to preserve. He combines proven international bloodlines with the consistency, temperament, and type developed over nearly twenty years of breeding. Every generation has built upon the one before it, and Arman is the result of that ongoing commitment.
While every breeding decision must continue to move the program forward, I believe Arman provides an exceptional foundation for future generations and will become an important part of the next chapter of Cartier Siberians.
Looking Forward
As Arman matures, I look forward to watching him become one of the cornerstone males of the Cartier Siberians breeding program.
His role extends beyond producing beautiful kittens. I believe he will help preserve the qualities that have guided my breeding decisions from the beginning—correct Siberian type, substantial bone, balanced structure, gentle temperament, and thoughtful genetic diversity—while providing the flexibility to continue making carefully planned outcrosses that strengthen future generations.
Every breeding program is ultimately measured over generations rather than individual cats. My hope is that years from now, Arman’s descendants will continue to reflect the qualities that first inspired this breeding program: beautiful expression, correct structure, exceptional temperament, and the timeless character of the Siberian breed.
For me, Arman represents more than a breeding male. He represents nearly twenty years of learning, careful selection, and the belief that every generation should be an improvement upon the last.
