Her Story
Bred by Cartier Siberians, Cartier Aurora Rose represents another carefully planned branch of one of the strongest maternal families in my breeding program.
Like Emerald Raine, Aurora Rose traces back to Cartier Alexandrite Kisses and shares the thoughtfully selected bloodlines of Wintermist River. Where the two pedigrees differ is through Aurora Rose’s maternal grandsire, Taimyr Onix Gloria, whose Russian bloodlines add a different influence while preserving the same long-term vision for this family.
Rather than repeating a successful pedigree, I intentionally developed two related but distinct branches from Cartier Alexandrite Kisses. Each contributes different strengths while preserving the health, temperament, and traditional Siberian type that define my breeding program.
Together, they provide flexibility for future generations while continuing to build toward the consistent Cartier type I have spent years developing.
Her Legacy
Aurora Rose’s legacy is still being written.
She represents a second branch of the Cartier Alexandrite family, carrying forward the same maternal foundation through a different combination of carefully selected Russian bloodlines. While Emerald Raine preserves one path, Aurora Rose preserves another, giving my breeding program additional genetic flexibility without losing the identity I have worked to establish.
Every generation behind Aurora Rose reflects years of planning rather than chance. My hope is that her descendants will continue strengthening the health, temperament, traditional Siberian type, and genetic diversity that have guided Dainah Rico Siberians for nearly two decades while contributing to the recognizable Cartier look I have spent years developing.
Looking Forward
Aurora Rose has not yet produced her first litter, but she represents another important piece of the long-term vision for my breeding program.
Like Emerald Raine, Aurora Rose was never bred simply to produce the next litter. She was bred to preserve options for future generations. Her unique combination of Wintermist River with the Onix Gloria branch provides another carefully planned avenue for continuing the Cartier breeding program while maintaining valuable Russian bloodlines.
As future generations are evaluated, Aurora Rose’s branch will complement—not compete with—the Emerald Raine branch. Together they give me the opportunity to make breeding decisions based on each generation’s strengths while continuing to refine the consistent Cartier Siberian type I have envisioned for years.
My goal remains unchanged: that over time people will be able to look at one of my cats and simply say,
“That’s a Cartier Siberian.”
